OLD NEIGHBOURHOOD RASCAL

Ricardo doesn’t have a job, nor is he looking for one. Without a penny, he has discovered that being a good talker, and keeping company, is enough to get a living out of loans from friends, and from the trust of the neighborhood stores, paying some with the borrowed of the others, and vice versa. The anguish of living on such tightrope, depending on others, is felt by everybodyelse but him cause he couldnt´ care less about it.

But if it weren’t for that attitude maybe Berenice, the waitress at the restaurant on the corner, would have no qualms about dating him, and besides managing to sneak a free lunch for him at the corner table, she could find a way to ignore her aspirations, and finally accept the invitation to keep him company on the quiet nights; those nights that are the only thing Ricardo repines of his own life.
