Joan G. Endara
Direction - Production

Colombian director, producer, and screenwriter, founding partner of Big-Sur Películas, he has directed, co-written, and co-produced the short films Asunto de Gallos (Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival 2012), Días De Arena (Bogoshorts 2006), La Casa de Campo, shot in Barcelona (Solé Tura Award – Brain Film Fest 2012), and the feature film El Árbol Rojo, selected for the “Films in Progress” section at the San Sebastián Film Festival 2019.

Graduated from the master’s program in film directing at Escac in Barcelona, his feature film “El Árbol Rojo” had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in 2021. the film was also selected for the International Film Festival of India (Goa-2021), in addition to receiving two awards at the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival 2022, among other recognitions.

In Colombia, the film was part of the official selection of the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI), and had its commercial release in the second half of 2022, distributed by Cine Colombia.

As a producer, he premiered Querido Trópico (Panama-Colombia), officially selected for the Toronto International Film Festival (World Premiere), the San Sebastián Film Festival 2024 (European Premiere), and FICCI (Colombian Premiere). The film recently had its theatrical release in more than 30 cinemas across the Country.

Ivan Sierra Sanjurjo
Production - Direction

Producer, director, and associate scriptwriter, he co-wrote the short film Asunto De Gallos and the feature film El Árbol Rojo, of which he is also a producer during the development stage; both projects directed by Joan G.-Endara.

Since 2000, he has produced and directed fiction and documentary short and feature films, including Sueños Y Silencio (Official Selection International Documentary Exhibition Of Bogotá – Midbo 2000), Cigarrillos Mojados (Colombian Film Development Fund Stimulus – F.D.C 2008), La Siberia (Official Selection International Documentary Exhibition Of Bogotá – Midbo 2015), Los Últimos Artesanos De La Luz (Colombian Film Development Fund Stimulus – F.D.C 2011), and Rastros De Animal Esquivo (Idartes Prize 2021 and Colombian Film Development Fund Stimulus – F.D.C 2021).

Graduated in film and television production from the Universidad Nacional De Colombia, with a master’s degree in teaching from the Universidad De La Salle, he also works as a teacher in the Audiovisual And Multimedia Communication program at the Universidad De La Sabana, and is currently working in the development stage of the fiction feature film Granuja De Barrio, an in-house project of Big-Sur Películas.
